Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Changkat Indah, Taman Bukit Indah, Good Taste Bukit Indah 好好食面 offers an enticing journey into authentic Asian flavors that beckon both locals and visitors alike. Specializing in a diverse range of Asian noodle dishes, this eatery has quickly carved out a reputation for dishes that are deeply satisfying and full of character.
One of the standout offerings here is their curry laksa with white chicken, praised for its rich, flavorful broth that effortlessly balances spicy, creamy, and aromatic notes – a true delight for the senses, as shared fondly by customer Angela Low. The texture of the chicken paired with the robust curry sauce creates a truly memorable dish that warms both body and soul.
Another must-try is the unique curry pork wan tan mee, highlighted by James Elliott as “on point,” with springy and fresh noodles that showcase the kitchen’s skill in perfecting texture and flavor. Add to that a side of tender char siu, and you have a meal packed with contrasting yet harmonious tastes.
The menu itself boasts a wide selection of choices, catering to diverse palates and ensuring reasonable pricing that invites repeat visits. Customers like Jocelyne Chin note the enticing variety alongside the popularity, evident from the consistently long queues even outside peak lunch hours. While some diners, like Elaine Chong, find certain dishes a tad salty, this slightly adventurous seasoning approach adds a distinctive edge to the overall flavor profile that many find irresistible.
Stepping into Good Taste Bukit Indah, one is met with a lively, bustling atmosphere that feels both welcoming and energetic. While there’s room for the ambiance to refine its identity—as noted by James Elliott—the genuine dedication to quality and flavor shines through every dish served. This blend of vibrant energy and authentic culinary craftsmanship makes it an essential stop for noodle lovers exploring Johor Bahru’s dynamic food scene.
In summary, Good Taste Bukit Indah 好好食面 is not just about feeding hunger; it’s about savoring the depth of Asian noodle culture through well-prepared, thoughtful dishes that entice the palate and invite a longing for more. Whether you’re drawn by the irresistible curry laksa or the innovative wan tan mee, this spot delivers comfort and excitement in every bowl.

Unique wan tan mee offerings and takeout-worthy ice tea. The curry pork wan tan mee is on point, and the mee was springy and fresh. We ordered a side of char siu and we were not disappointed. As for the food and atmosphere, I think this place still needs to find its footing.
